Canadian Ambassador visited CyberSecurityHubCZ: Discussions on cooperation in the field of cybersecurity

A very special visit from the Canadian Embassy came to Brno. On Wednesday, February 5, we welcomed the Canadian Ambassador, Mrs. Emily McLaughlin, at CyberSecurityHubcz in Brno. The visit brought an inspiring discussion about the possibility of cybersecurity cooperation between CyberSecurityHubcz and Canada.

The visit was highlighted by a discussion on the development of mutual cooperation between CyberSecurityHubcz and Canada. We also introduced the Ambassador to the activities of our Hub and some of our projects - Czech National Quantum Communication Infrastructure ​(CZQCI) and the Advanced Chip Design and Research Centre (ACDRC)

Also discussed was the possibility of working with CyberRangecz, an expert task force that prepares cyber professionals. "We discussed possibilities for cooperation between CyberRangecz and Canadian partners in training in the defense against emerging threats, especially hybrid warfare. Given Canada’s interest in this field, there is certainly room for mutual learning," said CyberRangecz head Jakub Čegan.
